NeighborTone Music: A Part of the Community
My name is Daniel and I've been playing guitar for 20+ years. I am drawn to versatility and range of expression that the guitar allows. It has been my favorite instrument from the moment I picked it up.
My intention behind NeighborTone Music is to leverage the power of music in order to serve my neighbors. I believe we all have a duty and a calling to be a part of a functional and vibrant community where we care for one another using our gifts.
I have also been a teacher in my community for the last 10 years. I attended Biola for my undergraduate and graduate degrees and continue to attend church at St Gregory's in Long Beach. I am an artist and am interested in many mediums including poetry, painting, acting, and comedy.
Tailored Guitar Lessons
Each lesson is customized to fit your skill level and musical interests, ensuring steady progress and personal growth. I focus on building confidence and musical skills in a friendly, encouraging atmosphere.
Guitars are available for in-person lessons but it is preferable that each student eventually have their own guitar. We have recommendations and guidance for beginner guitars and equipment needed.
I will provide all other materials needed and we will go over how to use everything together.
